The next morning, Diya woke up with a smile on her face that she couldn't hide. The memory of Raj's kiss lingered in her heart like the gentle warmth of the morning sun breaking through a cold, shivering winter day. She didn't get out of bed immediately. Instead, she sat by her window, hugging her knees to her chest, looking out at the waking world while replaying every single, breathtaking moment in her mind.
She could still feel the phantom heat of his large, strong hands gently holding her face. She remembered the intoxicating, masculine scent of his cologne, the rough texture of his jaw, and most importantly, the stunning vulnerability hidden deep within his usually strict, dark eyes. For a few magical seconds in the dark, he hadn't been her demanding professor; he had just been a man, completely and utterly captivated by her.
